you need to make sure they are the right length for the converter and use locktite. Personally id order new ones to be safe.

If you are running an aftermarket flexplate the thread depth will be longer than stock. ATS uses a different metric thread (10mm x 1.25 I think) and the other converters that I have used are 10mm x 1.50.

Reusing them will be fine. Just make sure they are the correct length. I would never use stock TC bolts in an aftermarket TC. Bolts can be cycled millions of times, they are fine.

Reeces trans has used the same ones twice, another buddy ha used them twice and one of our friends we pulled his trans like 3 times and a shop pulled it once before. Years later they are all still fine. You guys reuse bolts in motors do you not?

I've also reused my converter bolts 3 times without any problems. I'll probably replace them this time though.

Not bolts that are under a lot of load. Main bolts, head bolts, flywheel bolts, crank bolt, cam bolt all should be replaced.

I understand all this I was just saying because people think it's a huge deal and most of us have reused them. The only time one ha snapped was a brand new one

Its cheap to buy new ones but on the other hand as long as yo have the correct bolts for the flexplate and converter with some loctite you will be ok
