Hate to say it but your leaving in a dream. The price of fuel isn't going down anytime soon. When I bought my truck Diesel was .99 cents a gallon,today it's $4.10.
I love my truck and I don't have to drive it so it sits 99.9% of the time waiting for fuel prices to drop. It's been 10 years I've been in the waiting game!
IF I were in the truck market today for a driver I would not by a Diesel. IF I needed a truck then I suppose I would buy a Diesel but I would have to think long and hard!
Sucks but that is reality.
