Unless you know Steve very well, you probably don't know that he has had the desire to become a police officer for a long time. He had everything lined up and ready to go about a year ago, but some issues arose that prevented him from continuing after his goal. Well, he has finally got things worked out and will be starting his training to becoming a real full time police officer. He reports to the academy this Sunday night. I just want to say how happy and proud I am for you for going after your dream and not giving up even when it looked bad. Good luck to you bud. As bad as you want this, I know you'll do great. I understand what you're going through. I went through 2 academies in 2 different states. Its a long road, lots of training but if you stick with it, it can pay off in the end. If you need any advice, let me know and good luck with it.
Well I check in this evening, it is 10 weeks. The good thing is the academy is 35 miles from home so I can see my wife and kids on the weekends.....Oh yeah and drive my other baby..lol ..LiLLY
