Yeah I am surprised too, I was just sitting there waiting for the thing to come unglued! I thought he would rip the tires off. Makes me wonder if he wasn't on top of them all the way.

I asked him what boost was and he didn't check I cant blaim him, I never seem to remember either unless i am street testing , I know Simon's twins have seen 90 psi so far with the same secondary , hopefully mine will be out for a road test tonight, truck is ready just have to stuff the trans back in , i am anxious to test the new setup :driving:

Ow in the heck can he not load it better with several thousand pounds strapped to it & dragging it on dirt versus just the resistance of traction of tires on the road with a 7500 lb truck? Slick pull track???

Sounds good.

Texas Y'all
Most trucks dont load as hard sled pulling as they do on the street. You generally never see as much boost.

I have been a little busy and have not been on here in a while. The turbo lit fine and was loaded, I think the bushing (restricter plate) is doing its job and ?ucking me on air... The added turbo seemed to make it quiet so it dont really sound as good as last year but it held 3900rpm in 4th gear to 300ft. It has a healthy bushing in it from just under 4" to 3.2" On the street with out the bushing it seems to clean up fine but hard to tell because once it cleans it is hard to keep straight and I managed to get pulled over while testing so I havent had much time on it without the bushing.

Seemed to have more "grunt" at the end than the S480 did. Held on a lot longer without downshifting. I was pretty surprised at how quiet the turbo's were, I expected the big one to wail a quite a bit harder. Congrats on the W. :thumb:

I will tell you this. It is a PAIN in the ass to launch big turbo/s with 4.56 gears. It just don't want to hold at the line in first gear. And second gear is to tall. Mine will just scream like hell in second around 28xxish then when you dump the brake all you get is MAJOR turbo bark:eek: and then a downshift to first. Im sure the laughing gas would cure this though:D
