Yep, your right. Just read the rule book... I guess I was having a blonde moment :spit:
i think your right ken, looks like ill have to bring my truck back to charlie and have him make it better, im torn between staying in my crew or going to the single cab i want a 9 so bad in a crew, i have the mile per hour for it i think, 138.6, is that enough??
I'm torn between staying in my crew or going to the single cab
What's it weigh? we ran a 9.94 at 138.44 at 6100 lbs a year ago this month. I think at a place like Sacramento, Portland or Woodburn where the elevation is close to sea level with good track prep and if you can get some good air I think you could. The Portland NHRDA race is in the evening on July 24th. That would probably be a good place to give it a shot. If your truck weighs 6500 lbs and you can make 1050 rear wheel hp you should be able to do it given good to perfect conditions. With your MPH even at 6500 lbs the calculator says deep into the 9's. But we all know we can't do as well as the calculator says we should.
Congrats Bro!! Let me try catching up before you get a clean pass in!! I still havent got a chance at a 1/4 mi run.....rain wont stop.
The only way that would happen is if we broke or took a nap on the line.I'd leave it in the CC dimitri the look on Ken's face when MAX'd out loses to a crew cab will be priceless
I was at 6680 with me in the truck before i put the twins on, i know that 55 is about 80 pounds plus piping, i would say im close to 6800 again im working backwards ken ha ha, im torn between going to my single cab or hitting a 9 in my crew cab, i feel i owe it to my crew to try, i have all my time and heart into that truck, i almost feel bad to step out of it, plus my single cab has A.C im going to try and hit canada in two weeks, and maybe two more before that motor goes into the single cab, i just cant decide are you guys going to portland?

Thats a lot of weight, says it takes 1118 hp to hit the 9's. You have dynoed over that but getting it to the ground on the track is another story. Need a good track too.
Yes, I will be in Portland, not sure if Max'd Out will be there, Rob will be on a float trip and Nathan I think is going to be in Glacier National Park. I need points in White Out if I want to take it to Topeka so all is up in the air right now since both trucks are down at the moment. Hope to have Max'd Out ready for Indy and White Out not till Redding in July, but it should be ready this week. Tranny is giving us fits.
