Newly's truck is a 100% daily driver so I don't care that a reg cab race truck is faster.

He doesn't have another truck that is his DD and one that is a racer There is something to be said about running those times in a truck he uses everyday.

If I was newly I wouldn't put a cage in just run 11.01 and then drive it home

Trent's truck before becoming extreme prejudice was the most impressive DD duramax I have ever seen

anything below 11.50 is rollbar territory.

So what impact does that have on you?

It's my truck. Duh. It's impossible to underestimate you, isn't it?:D

If Newly wants to post on this board again, he needs to apologize first. He knows that.

As far as I know, he is still good with threatening others and insulting women; people who post that way aren't going to post here. Call me old fashioned if you like, but that's how this board is going to run.

Newly advertised for free on this site. And then he started treating the other vendors and members like dirt. After a lot of warnings and timeouts, he was given the ultimatum, either apologize or stop posting.

He made his choice, so he should man up to his own decision. I have no beef with Newly, I don't think I've ever met him, but he's not going to harrass the other members at this site. I know it's OK at your site, so what's the problem? Just have him post there. That's simple enough for even you to understand.

Alright,
Let's get a couple things straight here. We'll start with Newly's truck:
Newly drives his truck everyday. I'm not saying a liesurely weekend drive, I'm saying he drives it HARD out into the field everyday for work.... sometimes hundreds of miles. So, for him to drive to all of these events and run SO well is pretty damn impressive to me. All the people that come so determined to beat him load their caged and slicked trucks onto a trailer with days of prearation... It's kind of pathetic to me that people can't just let a fellow Diesel freak (Newly) drive to an event and just enjoy it. Instead, people start waving money in his face and acting like children. Kinda sad that people feel the need to go to an event for the soul purpose of beating some guy in a daily driven truck because they have a grudge against him. Way to go guys! :thumb:

Which leads me to my next point:
I know Newly very well and it, quite honestly, infuriates me that a bunch of grown men would insult someones personal character on the internet when they haven't ever met this man... a bunch of Mods at that! (aren't you the leaders of the site? lol). So no McRat, I don't think you're old fashioned at all. An old fashioned gentleman would never dirty a mans reputation because of an immature internet grudge :baby:
So, don't talk to us about respect please sir. You are posting some very serious character attacks (dsrespectful to women... Never paid for advertising) on a public forum about a man you have never met ;)

You all need to get off your high horses and treat the diesel community like a brotherhood. I have never seen a forum with mods on a bigger powertrip than this one. You really think you're somehow special because you are the mod of a forum on the internet?

If you really have some personal issue with another person, don't post about it on the net... Deal with it like a man :jerkit:

Congrats To Dimitri for two amazing runs! You have a bad a$$ truck man! And congrats to Newly on your first place win!

I am sorry if you dont like how we moderate there are several other sites to choose from , we weren't chosen for our skills in peace talks , our main purpose here is to help members with tech and thats excatly what we do . I dont care for the drama myself nor do i have a problem with Newly , we had our spout , talked on the phone about it eventually like men and settled it , but when a new memeber shows up with the site owners truck in his avatar and has a suspicious IP address then yes we are going to address it . And if you ever expect people to not expect more out of a full built truck then I doubt that will happen any time soon either , If Newly is happy with how it runs then thats all that matters , just dont expect people to not push to see more out of it .

Not to mention if Newly portrayed himself on the webby like he does in person he wouldn't have any of these opinions of him , I have talked to Newly , he was a nice guy but on the net i dont agree so much . Most only know him by what they read from his posts just keep that in mind before you slang too much mud , I can go retreive some of the classics if you would like ? even the ones Pat referred too ? though it might sting a little to be proven wrong !

That wouldn't really prove me wrong man! So you can pull up some old dirt from the past... wooo hooo... here we go with the magical mod powers again!

:gay:

My point is that Newly drove apprx 430 miles (roundtrip) to a diesel event in his truck and took first place on 305/50/20 street tires with 20" XD wheels, smaller charger, No nitrous, etc... 11.40 on 20's with street tires @ 5200 ft. with a brand new untested tune deserves respect, especially after driving it all the way to the track.
People will get to see more.... but it's hard to give more if you know track officials will DQ you for no cage ;)

People constantly bash UDP, bash Newly, bash his purple parts, and try to ruin our rep. Looks like the purple power worked out pretty well to me :thumb:

You're right... there are a TON of other diesel forums. So, if you so choose, use your super mod power to look up my post history. You will clearly see that I have not been on this site in ages until today. I'm busy posting on forums where people don't bicker like little girls :catfight:

To be honest Trent, Nothing i've posted is even directed at you. I've never had a problem with you and I still don't. I am choosing not to mention the POS people that I do have an issue with because I choose not to tarnish others reputation on the internet ;) call me old fashioned :eek:lcoot: haha

I haven't seen too many people talking down on Newly's accomplishments. In fact, most people have said congratulations and were giving him encouragement to keep improving. The problem people have with Newly is the way he talks to people on the forums. I don't care what you say or how you try to justify it, there is no excuse for some of the things he has said to or about people. Sorry you don't like it, but sometimes the truth hurts.

X2. I don't have a problem with anybody that tries their best helps others and has a good attitude. On the internet, Newly is not this type of guy. Everyone says Newly is a great guy in person. I've never met him so I normally would have to give him the benefit of the doubt. However with the way I have seen him post here and elsewhere, I can't do that.

Congrats to his runs and wins. He has worked hard and done well so it's much deserved.

In fact even you could look for and find them yourself. It's called the search button. Likely your other forums you frequent have this button as well

Nobody is disputing the fact that he drove to an event, won it and drove home. Only you seem to make a big deal of it.

In fact I haven't seen any bashing of Newly, purple junk or even mention UDP since he left and as a matter of fact it has been rather peaceful..........:cool2:

Not sure I mentioned anything about Newly's truck.
Just his behavior on this site.

My problem is with his troll ID trying to start a tuner war. No class, but no surprise. And he was trying to insult Dimitri for some reason. And that is why he needs to apologize before posting here again, because he sucks at posting at an adult level.

This board is free for anyone to read. Posting is a privilege though. And selling stuff here is only by permission.

The rules here are not strict for a family site. And there is little moderation done here.

I suppose you believe Newly was given multiple timeouts because the "moderators" have it out against him, and he was just being a nice guy. He was removed most recently for physical threats. That's not only stupid, it's illegal.

Nope. We hate removing anybody, it's too much trouble. It would be a heck of a lot easier if you'd just act on the internet as you would in real life.

The staff here aren't cops, and they aren't Mother Teresa. They are here to help people who want help, and have a good time with other hotrodders. If you want to treat them like janitors, they are going to treat you like a spoiled child, guaranteed.

Congrats Newly and Dimitri, but if Newly wants to post here, he knows what it takes.
