Had tires at 35psi front, and 32psi rear on 265's. Launched at 13-14psi, Truck will pull through the brakes at anything higher. Not sure if the ML is loose enough for the S480. Got the fueling fixed Tom, as odd as it sounds, the shift happens exactly 600rpm from what the tune says..., so still working it out, but its the first 100% throttle pass the truck has seen. Would blow right past the shift with stock defuel and TLIQ tables, I messed with the WOT rpm/mph shifting and have it set down to 2800rpm and still clicks shifts off at 3200-3400. I loaded a +200uS tune in after it shifted smoothly and it started to pull fuel from when we were trying to get it to shift before, but atleast its doing what the tune says, not blowing right past a set shift point. Still full weight, ~ 7600 lbs. Removed spare and tailgate. Need to get it on a scale

I understand now. Glad to hear you (and Steve?) finally got that defuel BS fixed. What did you end up figuring out about the tune?

Good luck in the future, bud. You've put up with a lot of crap, now's the time for payback.

Well, the torque tables in the TCM gave us a lot of the problems, all my enables are on. Honestly, I dont exactly know what was wrong other than the trans trying to shift exactly 600rpm past where it was supposed to. we had stock TCM tune, stock defuel, and stock TLIQ cells, and still would blow past the shifts. Kory Willis was a big help in giving me the idea to pull down the desired shift speeds and that did the trick. So, Thanks Kory! It is also very clear that I need a lockup box.

Untill next time... :happy2:

This was in the Colorado right?:roflmao: J/K I know how it can be a bear figuring stuff out.:thumb:

Ran 4 times, all 13.90-13.70 @ 101-104 mph, 60's are junk, but thats why its test and tune :D

Have some videos from gopro will see how skilled I am with them. I am happy though, 13.70 isnt anything to be excited about, but no hung shifts, no nasty defuel, no Vtech rpm's, nothing. Clean shifts. :coolspot: 2000 us tune. Nothing big..[/QUOTE]

It was defueling hard because it was seeing that it wasn't making the shift. It will continue to defuel until the shift occurs, so it would defuel down to 20mm3 while the truck hit 4100 and shifted, then the fuel would come back on.

Now it is shifting and defueling to the amount that it should. I had a generous defuel in the ECM to save the trans in case it thought it knew what to do and tied up.

I logged the truck in the cab and it is FINALLY staying below 3500RPM, even with my big defuel it only drops to 70mm3, clicks the shift and pops back up.

I need to do more testing with his CP3 however, it held great rail and now is having a hard time holding pressure. Because of the adjustment tables for rail maintain, the ECM will cut pulse to keep the rail up.

This lb7 can leave the line way harder though, 12psi launched straight as an arrow.

Same thing with me James, only they let them get up way too close to the track and I shut them up with a bad launch and sending my truck towards the wall (and them). Shuts them up pretty quick
