Question: Computer problem?

Hey I don't know if I am in the right sub forum but, I got a 2003 silverado 2500hd diesel and lately my odometer has been coming up in miles when it should be in kilometer same with my interior temp gage to show in ferinhite instead of Celsius. But when I shut it down and restart the truck it all comes up in the right units. Could my computer be on its way out? If not what else could it be?

Possible bad batteries? Low voltage issues cause all sorts of weird problems.

Maybe the odometer reset button is stuck inward (either the one in the gauge face, or the equivalent one on the steering wheel, if equipped). I know holding it in long enough does change the language.
