I have the harbor freight one. Works just fine. Comes with several different adapters as well.

Im not sure if its everywhere or just around my area, but they dont carry the one you need in store. I had to order online. I ran in in a hurry one time and grabbed the compression tester without looking really and got home to find that it was the wrong one. I went back to exchange it but they didnt stock it. Just an FYI

Item #93644 is what you want. I like it because of the 90* fitting, easier to get to the back cylinders in the truck

X2 on harbor freight. But to me there adaptor is not right for a duramax.

I use the harbor freight one also. It's definitely a cheap tester. But seems to work well.

on the 06 and up, the adapter doesnt thread in well as the hex head gets in the way of the valve cover. you only get a couple turns in with it

Called luke day at day's diesel says he uses the said harbor frieght kit and the long adapter all the way up to 2011 trucks..
Guess we will see if i laundry $32.00 through harbor frieght or not

I use the kent moore EN-47603 adapter for the 2006 and up with the harbor freight tester.

Adapter fits nicely in the GP hole.. gauge doesnt connect to the adapter

Two different fittings. The right one is what i would expect from harbor freight with industrial style fitting the left one looks like wannabe automotive style air fitting mixed with a mine style fitting, or it was just missmachined. The mine fittings are automotive style just way bigger and longer

Neither are anything close to the common automotive/industrial air hose connections
Doubt napa will have anything...
Just another wasted day....

Not even close to what I've been using for the last 25 years and these have been around for 40 years and being a true 1/4" diameter bore.

That is the same fitting used for pressure washer quick couplers.

That would be a really small pressure washer hose as the IDis barely 5/16"
