Hello all, has anybody had any success running compcams behive valve springs part #26125? I have these on a set of heads and they do not have locators on bottom of spring. I noticed the spring has been moving around alot not centering the valve. I am kind of having a hard time finding the exact part # I need to install the valve spring locators. Any point in the right direction would be cool.

I found cups for the 26113 springs, but nothing for the 26125's. If CompCams techline isnt helpful, then maybe call SoCal or Hamilton?

I don't recall COMP offering a cup for them like SoCal does. From what Comp Cams stated their springs weigh less than SoCal but I have never measured both to begin with.

I was able to get some locators for the springs. Part # 4695-16. They have an inside diameter of .520 and an outside diameter of 1.303. They should center up off the outside diameter. They will have slight clearance from the inside of the locator to the spring. The inside diameter of the bottom of the beehive spring is .738 and the locator ridge is .640. This will leave .049 clearance from center. Comp cams claim anything under 1/8" should work fine.
