I spend most of my time at the duramax forum, but I ran across an article Ben (duratothemax) posted over there about Jon's (Fingers) build on Mahle cast pistons with oval bowls. Well, after reading that, I knew I had to join up here and get to see all the pics, and get to know you guys over here! I have already filled out my sig as well, most importantly, if I could leave any first impression it would be that Jesus wants to be your savior!

I look forward to learning from you guys! Rest assured, I am always putting my foot in my mouth :hello: So it should be a good time.

Welcome buddy...

If you want to know if you have a built trans just pop the little tin dust cover off the lower portion of the bell housing and see if your torque converter has any paint on it or if it is raw steel...

Yeah...thats what made me doubt it was built...you dont build a tranny and throw a stock converter in it....Im guessing they meant shift kit.... It does feel better then stock, but it has a stock converter for sure.
