A liLLY will never be as fast or as strong as the mighty LB7!:D

All that Environmental...EGR...crap will kill the performance of the motor.

:happy2:

casper is not an LLY anymore...

the stupidity of the LLY ECM's defuel issues just got too annoying I guess, even though people claimed you can tune them all out. :)

I had to change to LBZ control because the 6-sp Allison TCM conversion will not allow changing shift points with EFILive.

I'd rather run LLY, but since we changed over to LBZ for LSR, I will not change back unless we run into significant problems.

Not sure why some LiLLY trucks defuel. My two didn't, and the dozen or so local trucks I tuned did not either. Most were Mike L transmissions. Dunno if that is the reason, but I would not be surprised.

Phoenix it is then:angel: Do you like your chicken with hot sause or blue cheese. I'm guessing blue cheese being a McRat. I'll put a bit of it on the tail gate. Will be like a carrot or like a bunny in greyhound racing...

Oh loving this. OK McRat we have to come with a little wager on what the loser has to do. Have to make it fun so all can enjoy and sufficiently humbling to the loser. I'd like some suggestions from the peanut gallery. Can't be rude or crude or involve any significant amount of money. With any luck it will be a photo op for out sport, and god knows we need more exposure.

When playing rugby for many years, we had a "zulu" for first timers that scored. Basically, stripped down naked and did a lap around the 110 meter field, then came back a stood at attention while the team threw beer...Well I'm 44 yers old now, and I've seen Pat, I think naked stuff is out of the question.:D

Well my favorite has always been money donated to charity. The winner wins, the loser does a good deed, and the charity wins to boot.

But in lieu of that, how about this:

Loser wears a shirt that the winner provides for the rest of the day, no covering it. Custom T's are fair game.

Either way, winner buys dinner. I usually buy dinner anyhow... ;)

I wanted to go to Arizona back in Feb of this year to one of the diesel races, but didnt for some reason. Is the race date already posted for the diesel event? Need to mark this so I can buy my plane ticket in advance.

And the shirt has to be 2 sizes smaller than what you wear

Sounds perfect. The winner will buy the other teams dinner, loser buys the drinks.:D T-shirts are a great idea, maybe throw in a custom bumper sticker (tasteful) that stays on the truck for the next event.

It isn't a national event, but the NHRDA is having their first regional race in March at Firebird in Phoenix I believe. Max'd Out is supposed to be in attendance. :happy2:

Would be cool to have an east vs west race where Casper and Max'd out and Buck and another high 9/low 10 truck from the east coast (maybe 1badmax or Jeff "stingpuller") could come to a more central location and duke it out for fastest street Duramax in the country.

Im looking at NHRDA and where you said Firebird in Phoenix, Im not finding that. I found a Speedworld and Southwestern Intl in Arizona... Did see a Firebird in Boise,Idaho.. Man, all these big haus's out there, I gotta get this striaght and placed on the refrigerator for a count down.:D
