When i was in afghanistan we had a ford ranger pickup diesel that was unstoppable! i jumped it and everythign and that thing would just keep taking it. If we could get them over here you bet your butt id have one right now!:thumb:

I actually wouldn't be terribly surprised to see a Isuzu dmax pop up in the states with a 4jj1 3.0 diesel. Isuzu spent a considerable amount of money getting the engine certified for us emmissions and will not sell all that many in NPR trucks.

The real problem is convincing enough of the American public that new diesels aren't the stinky noisy engines of days gone by, making selling them here profitable.
