Well, a factory cap fixed the collapsed hose issue. Now I'm losing coolant at a faster rate and cant find leak.

I had one come in with bad head gaskets and if you took the cap off at idle when cold.(or hot maybe didn't check it that way) and watched the coolant level in the tank after about 30 seconds it would start to raise the lever for 20-30 seconds and then after if came up a couple inches it would burb a whole bunch of gases and then go back down. then it would start all over raising and then burb. guy was using coolant but not seeing it anywhere. both gaskets were bad and had been for along time.

didn't even check it that way. he had taken the cap off when he got there to show me that. so the pressure had been released and I just fired it up the next day to see and that's what I was going to do was drive it and then let it sit overnight and I didn't even need to do that after seeing it do that. 3-4 of the head bolts were rusted cause this thing had been seeping so long.

Look at the passengers side where the head meets the block at the back of the motor almost dead center. Thats where I've seen them leak and blow bubbles, if its not leaking there I'd bet it's eating it...

Can you smell it in the exhaust?

What's your consumption rate now? Check the turbo coolant line?

I like using dye on tricky ones. I found a leak at my egr delete like NC had that way. Also if it is burning you may see traces of dye at the exhaust tip but that's a guess.
