Damn shame we didn't see Wednesdays weather on Sunday.. Supposed to be like damn 75 degrees. Seat of the pants feel puts my truck running best in 60 degree temps. But no numbers to confirm that.. I think they did right cancelling sunday tho. Neither me or Tyler would have got traction...

All butthurt and internet BS set aside.. I'm def disapointed because now I am just starting to get really curious about whos truck would pull that race...

min temps

I was data logging in 27° F weather and my IAT was 4°C (@ the y bridge) the engine seemed to love it, crispest throttle response ive had, i bet. The engine ran smooth strong and quiet(well as quiet as normal)

The Tony B y bridge helps, my truck has never run so good!

I dont know what the lowest temp you could safely run at, but i ran just as hard as i would have at the track, boosted 4x launch in mid twenties weather at 150ft above sea level and did just fine, street tires on asphault. I have also towed a 10k trailer snowmobiling in sub zero weather, with an air dam and removed my banks ram air scoop and had no issues what so ever...snow packed roads and all the throttle was always nice and smooth i rarely slipped a tire, but i tow sleds with studs. I like to use additives like diesel kleen or stanadyne, im sure that helps too.

Hope this gives ya a little confidence in burning rubber in the winter:thumb:

What temperature seems to be the cutoff for drag racing? This is at sea level with moderate humidity. Not trying to risk safety or break parts.

High 30s. Wear your longjohns and have good gloves. Make sure to keep truck warmed up. (dont ask how I know all this....)

Temps less than that you'd be better off racing snowmobiles.
