What balljoints is everyone using on the upper control arms? Mine have about 20k on them and both sides have play. My front end is only cranked about 1" so I don't know why they are worn out.

We see it happen a lot when people don't clock them right before pressing them in.

Cognito should be the bolt in ones.

I run the Napa NCP part number ones. Lifetime warranty and Teflon lined inside

That’s crazy! Seems to be about the same as Moog in my factory arms, about 1” cranked also. I was gonna buy cognito arms next payday.....

20k on them,,but what year were they bought? Cognito had a quality issue until they started manufacturing in house a few years ago. Only times we’ve been seeing them going bad are trucks on the Salt Belt, same rate as as many other brands . Moog has recently had quite a few new sets with tons of play right off the shelf, I’ve sent some back myself.

NCP 260-1313.

45 bucks before tax and lifetime warranty if one dies, just keep the receipt. long as the suspension isnt banging on the UCA bumpstops, they will last a loooooooong time.
