Any advice, folks down here say turbo:/ I have cai, 4.5 inch wxhaust, and a bully dog triple dog..... Btw the extreme tune sucks.... But I didn't buy the truck to race it just thought it would be a good choice! Truck runs perfect TO ME, but I need help cause a service light drives me crazy

Couple on Craigslist here local. Don't have to drop trans or any of that bs. Its a pain, but not bad. Replaced my turbo not long ago in about 6 hours.

Maybe this expierence won't be bad..... Man ur awesome most ppl just look over and won't help gas I know wat to do diesel I know nothing...... Man everything is stock that I know of.... Just b dog, cai, and 4.5 inch exhaust.... I wanna ppe.... Will a ppe off 08 d max fit??? Also wat should I do to prevent trans injec or anything like that from having probs? Sorry so many questions

With 4 inch lift and 35 it gets down the road haha.... Wen I put it in to drive then reverse I can hear like I clicking noise..... The turbo spools hard it seems man I spooled it going 25 and it broke loose sure that's normal tho its a Chevy:)

No problem. As far as PPE ? No idea. Just have to research. I would install an air dog 2 165. Or Fass 150. Better filtration and helps the cp3. If not the lift pump, keep good filters on it. The trans...keep spin on changed. I change fuel and trans filter at 10k miles. Transgo jr will help too. But still keep added HP to less than 100

Join duramax forum and dieselplace too. Plenty of good info to be obtained. Just have to search. Has helped me tremendously

PPE is probably the best hand held tuner, but EFI has much more potential for future mods...

Sounds like the vanes are sticky... I don't know how mechanically inclined you are but I would pull the turbo and take it apart and try to clean it before I junked it. If it can't be saved so be it at least you tried. Used turbo's are plentiful I have 2 LLY's in the garage...
