Ive got a friend with an LLY with about 108,000 miles and he runs a hypertech on low most of the time and lately has been puffing out some white smoke at idle very minimul less than a ciggarette. it doesnt burn my eyes or have its own distinct smell maybe just because its a small amount but he has thrown 3 codes.
PO101 MAF sensor performance(he uses a oiled k&n so i told him to clean the sensor.
PO234- Engine Overboost:confused:
PO380-Glow Plug Feedback Circuit:confused:
If anyone is familiar with this or has an idea of what the problem may be it would be greatly appreciated

so it could be any glow plug since it dosnt specify...if the glow plug wasnt lighting at all then there would be more than small wiffs of white smoke.

It could be 1 or more low plugs and/or the controller.
I'm not familar with the LLY's...but on my LB7 i didn't see any more smoke than normal when I lost a glowplug... or 2...
Hopefully someone with an LLY will see this and help out.

Overboost is rare, but it could be related to the MAF error.

No idea on the glowplug error, but they are easy to test. You check for ohms. If it's "open", it's busted.

LLY's don't have intake heaters so they need their glowplugs more than the others.
