i am refreshing my trans and found this. i cant imagine it is any good for quick engagement/disengagment of the c2 clutchs. all of the frictions are pretty well burnt, but suprisingly it never thru any codes before it was torn out.
anyone else had this problem?
whats the cause?

I have the same thing. I always thought mine came from the partial lock-up during shifts I had on my tranny. Next time in, I am going to change out the carrier.

My dragbike clutch basket always looked like that. It is just from the clutch plates getting shocked real hard. They have a little play in them and over time this is the result

I just tore down a stock ally with the same groves. Where is a good place to get the replacement for that an the c-2 apply/clutch piston. My c-2 has stress fractures all through it.
