Definitely worth the sweat. My dad, a number of years back, had some slag drip onto his boot, burn though and go between his toes. Let's just say you've never seen a boot come off so fast

Here's a vid I got of roughly what my cluster was doing. Cold starts or extended days with it parked would exaggerate the problem greatly haha

My cluster started doing this last year. One battery was done. Replaced both under warranty but cluster still does it. Has to be another solder joint going bad.

Wish you would have taken some pics b/c that video isnt public. Cant see it.

Ah! My bad, first time uploading with the youtube app so I didn't see it made it private. Should be good now. Like I said the solder joints were so miniscule that my phone couldn't pick them up.

I'm planning on getting a new dash overlay and doing the blue LED upgrade so when that happens I'll take a picture and point out where all the solder joints were bad.

Chevyburnout, I really want to change to blue leds too. Do you have any part numbers for the leds and resistors that you'd be willing to share? I'm thinking about slowly but surely doing the whole dash.

Converting mine hasn't been high priority yet but I know there are plenty of threads out there about converting to colored LED's.

It's been a few months since I've searched but I can only usually find after pictures and what not instead of part numbers. I will look again.
