"club 11" how'd you get there?

Well im hopin to hit an 11 this winter. I can tell ya this much, just going from 2.0 60ft to a 1.93 60ft i went from a 12.6 to a 12.3. Ive got the hp to get there but between little things like bad shocks, trans that was on its way out, boost leak, and bad track conditions in 110* heat i didnt make it. Set yourself a feasable first time out goal and go from there. Its rare that and brand new setup will hit the times you want first time out

60' is a big thing. 1.60's help alot.

James, i dont expect to go out first time out and hit the best # ever, i wrote that wrong or just didnt convey myself right.
i do want solid 12's first time
i do want to be able to hit low 11's on a built motor and twin turbo/cp3 with the 4094vgt and still tow and DD with it and have an all arround solid truck!
But i guess the first time out i just dont want to be an embarrassment to myself or the Duramax name.

Agree. My first pass on a built trans was 13.1. Some fine tuning and suspension work I brought it down to a 12.35. Just takes time behind the wheel and on the track.

You should be a solid 12 with a 60 under 2.0 lol

Lol my first time to the track after the motor went back in, my first pass i ran the EXACT same time as when i blew it up but 8 mph faster lol. My 60 was a 2.4 (no boost launch). I instant went back into the stage lanes and boosted tthe heck out of her as i got pissed lol. Hit a 12.6 then

I ran 13.0 my first time out with a built trans and GT4094R lol..got that down to a 12.32 .

11.60@119 on the first pass? Seems kinda odd. Pretty cool if that was the case. Whats your best time now?

That was the fastest pass of the day, trans was hating life at the time. Not sure what is odd, thing runs good. That was with a 1.7x 60' too. Haven't been back to a 1/4 since. Think the 1/8 time was like 7.6x@93-94. now it consistently in the 7.30 area@97.

My first 1/8 pass was 8.5X befor the day was over I ran an 8.25, the next trip to the track I ran an 8.04. The difference between my first and last pass was weight reduction and allot of practice.

tune 2 (like 2050-2100us) went 11.6 at 119 with a DA of over 6500' and was 104 degree that day lol

Harbin, not sayin its odd u ran 11.60s. U made it sound like it was the very first pass. I dont.doubt your truck rins great. Was just wondering if u have improved since that all.
