So...
what does it take to push past 12 seconds?
I dont know, i am having a turbo upgrade done next week, nuthin spectacular, just a 4094avnt stg2 drop in. Im already tryin to figure out how to maximize its porential. Then i got to wondering...what is this turbo's porential? Will this turbo be able to get me into the 11's with some injectors, i wondered?
Then i realized, i dont have any idea how to squeak into sub 12 times, i would really like my first time at the track with this truck to be impressive, not just another diesel with a tune. I know its an art.
I have not found very direct input on this exact subject so i thought id throw it out there, i am thinking this will work
28 lpm/45% nozzles or 34 lpm 60%
4094avnt
Stock cp3 and stock bottom end= 11.98 or better....

Do you guys think this will do it, or am i just coco puffin and pipe dreamin again???

Thats what i was hoping for!
I exclaimed to a friend of mine that i thought this and he laughed at me and said flat out "NO WAY" confused i thought, wow how much more does it take to break 12sec?
He told me i would need to add a twin to the new 4094 then some injectors, THEN i would be consistently in the 11's.
Now i have to do it with a stock cp3 and stock bottom end to win my money i bet him back, i think he's full of it and i can get an 11.9, well my bet was 11.98 but i want 11.9

It can be done, get everything sorted out with tuning and everything. Then put it on a diet and run it. You can shave a few tenths off your ET by removing the seats, spare, hitch and tailgate.

I hope to get in the 11's on Wednesday. My previous best is 12.20 @108.94 with a 1.68 60' and at full weight of 7200. That was stock injectors/cp3/compounds with s475 and stocker........I'll be wrapping up the 100% Exergy injector and PPE dualfueler install today....Should be enough to get the job done:spit:

I think for most trucks it's around 600-650 hp. For me it was an ii silverbullet and supporting mods. Ran 11.7-11.8 consistently. Crewcab shortbox. 4094 should get you there.

If I was you honestly just hook up some nitrous... 500$ and you'll run 11's no problem

DmaxChris ran 11.90 with his 4094 and 40% nozzles. He didn't have the billet wheel and had it stripped down pretty good. I agree with Bigbird, it seems to take around 600-650 to get there depending on weight.

Weight, HP, and 60 foot times. One lacking can be made up (somewhat) in another. My weight is horrible (still right at 8K with the seats out) so my mods don't run what they should. That 60 is critical, going from a 1.9 to a 1.7 will take more than 0.2 off the total time. Right not I have a shitty 60 (1.7s) than I need to get down. I think the weight and 60 foot times are often very neglected by the guys starting off. for light body cars 100lbs seems to equal a tenth, I think it is more like 200ish+ lbs for us for each tenth but it adds up. And it is always cheaper to unbolt stuff than bolt stuff on!
I still haven’t fully figured this suspension stuff out, tuning a suspension is not easy at all and there is a lot of complex things going on, esp if you are special and run a lift… :beatdeadhorse:

Well im hopin to hit an 11 this winter. I can tell ya this much, just going from 2.0 60ft to a 1.93 60ft i went from a 12.6 to a 12.3. Ive got the hp to get there but between little things like bad shocks, trans that was on its way out, boost leak, and bad track conditions in 110* heat i didnt make it. Set yourself a feasable first time out goal and go from there. Its rare that and brand new setup will hit the times you want first time out

He did end up cracking a piston shortly after running those times though. :(

You should be close... I would go with a bigger charger than the 4094 if you really intend on pushing those limits. JMO
