Clock spring replacement?

Does the 08 2500HD have a clock spring? My cruise control and tow/haul have stopped working. Anybsuggestions?

Yes, it does have one.

I don’t think either of those goes thru the clock spring. I’d start checking fuses.
Edit…cruise does. Tow/haul I’d look for the broken orange wire. Cruise start with the brake switch.

Start with the above post. If your horn still works and airbag light isn’t on its not the clockspring.

i had an issue like this and it was a brake pedal switch, i am almost certain it was. See if you can pull any codes out of the bcm maybe.

Thanks for the feedback. I don’t have a schematic, is there a seperate set of contacts on the brake light switch. The power light for cruise comes on but it won’ t set.
The cruise haul just doesn't work. Is there a connector for the steering column harness? My brake controller is on the fritz again too. Have replaced both modules and then I hit a bump in the road and I get the error message to service brake module. Does it with and without a trailer, but it is inconvenient when I am pulling a loaded trailer..

From what you have said, it's not the clockspring. Change the brake switch and see if your problems are solved.
