you get held back if you can speck decent english in boot camp.. they send you to a specail division/company for that.
they come out with still thick accent but they understand orders

I know about the basic training deal. We had a guy in my basic training flight (Air Force thing) that got pulled out. A buddy of mine has a funny story about a dude in his basic training flight that didn't know English but made it almost all the way through basic because he knew how to say "no sir" and "yes sir." He only had like a week left or something before they figured out he couldn't speak english :rofl:

aparrently he was smarter then he looked or sounded.. 90% of the guys have problem with yes sir and no sir :rofl: and they know english
