For sure ya mine are not scratched at all. I'll probably go the paint route I can do it myself.Like I said in my post. My bumpers were crazy scuffed up. Primed them and painted them and they look amazing.
Ya I bet it would be best but I got quoted 567 bucks. Screw that lol. They were awfully proud of their powder coating abilities.Powdercoated is expensive because it's the most durable and most permanent if done right

Ya I think I'll do that I'll just add a generous amount of primer lol and extra coats.Chrome can be painted, like any other metal. I just lightly sandblast it, then prime and paint as any other surface.
I did my 03 that way back in 07, they have held up just fine.
Ya I thought so too. I wish I could get them done with powder I didn't think of that till you said something. The previous owner of my truck took off the plastic bed rail caps which is just paint under neath so instead of buying new plastic or getting them from the junk yard I figures I'd rhino line them to match the inside of the bed figured it would look cleaner then plastic. The local shops wanted 3-350 bucks lol that should give you a idea on prices around here. There is one diesel performance shop too they wanted 2600 and some change to do 5 in exhaust, air intake and egr delete with some generic one tune tuner that's before taxes and labor. I ended up doing it myself it was at that point I realized how popular trucks and diesels have gotten.Holy hell mine was 150 for both bumpers with clear powder over the factory GM colored powder, it's really think too. That's just straight highway robbery.
Yes it's pretty crazy. The performance shop is full of a bunch of guys who barely know what they're doing. That's coming from a ex employee who's a friend of mine who is an actual certified diesel tech, also the one who helps me when I decide to jump in the deep end with my truck. Anyway since they're the only one in town it was kind of smart for them to start a shop because the diesel craze is strong in Washington. That's pretty ridiculous pricing all around
