Deer are up and lit.
Angels are up and lit, but heck if I remember where we put the halos and "Peace on Earth" letters.
Sleigh and Pigs are up, but have to run lights and get Santa into the sleigh.
House lights have to go up. Not sure just how involved we're going to get this time.
Tree and house decorations are Roni's area of expertise. I'm just labor.
Saturday had football game at Ford Field (Div 7 HS Championship), and it has rained the rest of the time.

The wife decorated the mantle. And may I say it looks great. And she's at her moms now decorating her tree. The funny thing is, ours ain't even up yet. As far as me, no, I haven't done anything with Christmas decorations.

Just went with mama to buy 20 strings of 50 count led lites this year we are swtiching over to led gonna have to where shades when ever we walk into the living room:rofl:

The wife tried the LEDs on her moms tree. Took em off and returned em. Said they looked like crap.

Since the weather was nice I put the lights up friday and saturday. I outlined the front of the house and the whole garage with blue led icicles. I outlined the deck with multicolored lights too. Next year I'll do the other half of the house with icicles and maybe put some lights in the trees. Got the tree up and decorated too. I think we have enough decorations for 3 trees
I just plugged in the lights on the house since i never took them down from last year
I did just get back from buying a tree at Orchard supply . Its a live tree so when the holiday is over i can put it out side and use it next year and it was cheaper then a cut tree also looks better.

Got the tree up today. Contemplating putting up lights on the house, we will see how ambitious I am
Meant to but thanksgiving (Thurs), black Friday shopping (fri), unexpected truck repairs plus new front brakes (sat) & rain (today) prohibited us getting any of it done. Woulda been ideal this weekend though due to a really nice warm spell. Now I'll likely freeze my digits off hanging lights outside now. Blah.

Its at lowes henry....we seen it the other night....I almost bought it lol. think it was 100 bucks.
