Wow didnt know they put a 6.0L Duramax in the 03 Fords.
Sad thing is some poor sap is going to believe that. I went and looked at a truck the other day that the guy said had an 8.1 and an alison in it and when I got there it had a 6.0L and no alison so I told the guy he might want to change his add and he swore up and down that it had an 8.1 and an alison cause thats what the guy he bought it from said. Two weeks latter and he still has not changed the add.

I was thinking that too its look like the 7.3 badge on the door but couldn't tell for sure
Means nothing buddy. I know you could get a 6.0 in 04 with those style headlights. Im pretty sure 03 was the first year of the 6.0 though.
Actually a buddy of mine asked me to look for a 6.0 for him, I tried and tried to sell him on dmax but can't get him off his ford bandwagon I guess...

yeah 03 was there first year, i was told ford made 100+ motor improvements from 03-05. If that doesnt tell you something about how great the 03s were :roflmao:
im pretty sure you had the option of a 7.3 or 6.0 during 03 as well but that may be an old wives tail
