I could probably just %*#)@! rig up a bunch of these in parallel, that would probably be enough computing power to at least get it to idle. :D

500 hp is slightly above iidle on the go pedal Ben. :happy2:

Assuming you can get it running:

Diesel racing does not have displacement restrictions (except for LSR), so using it as a race engine is foolish.

It's claim to fame is it's excellent power-to-weight ratio for a diesel, and it's form-factor (LS1 Family Compatible).

Take an existing SBC powerboat and repower it. Far better WOT fuel range.

LS1 Dune Buggy --> Dmax Buggy.

Diesel Corvette (it would actually make a C3-C4 vette faster).

'32 Roadster Diesel complete with jump seat.

Boss Hawg Diesel Motorcycle.

Air-boat.

Hovercraft.

Or anywhere you might already use an SBC in a fun vehicle.

This guy probably thinks he is ready to cash in since about 50 of us probably have it marked to watch in ebay and he thinks we are all waiting until the end to run it up.

It's missing the intake Y-pipe and looks like it has been left outside in the rain = Rusty cylinder city. It's also missing the EGR system, intake throttle, turbo inlet pipe, low-pressure fuel system, accessory drive, etc. Left bank glow plugs are smashed, like it fell off the skid at one point.
