well it took all weekend, but it is finished and I think it looks great. I ended up using wire brush and degreaser first. Then went to steel wool and finished sanded certain spots after. once done with that to my liking I went over all of it with soap and water and then dried it thoroughly and then rubbing alcohol.
From here I used rust sealing primer (2 passes) I let that dry and then used rustoleum rubberized rust inhibitor/convertor. it took 2.5 cans. I did the ouide frame rails front suspension components, rear diff and crossmembers. I did not do the inside of the chassis (maybe later). looks great and hopefully will last a good while. I move back South soon which should help too:thumb:
