LB7: changing engine

how much trouble am i looking at to put a 2005 engine in my 2003 duramax

not to much of a fight the way i heard it ta swap a lb7 to a lly

just the shortblock or the whole thing, injectors, harnesses, etc.???

Theres a good thread over on DieselPlace where member Rick D Lance did that exactly - converted his 03 LB7 to LLY.

If you have a complete 05 lly motor it might even be fairly simple to convert your 03' truck to a lly
