Need help ASAP have a pull tomorrow evening and I can't get my truck to run after changing the CP3. Have lots of fuel at the filter housing and I've bled it a couple times. Clear fuel, don't have bubbles. Haven't re-tuned for LBZ CP3. Could that be a possibility?? I'm frustrated and really tired of working hard for three days on this CP3 and turbo upgrade and not having it run

Thanks in advance

i take it no codes? you have a lift pump? When i swapped my CP3 from an LLY to LBZ i turned my key on and let the lift pump run while the bleeder screw was cracked open and tried to start it... it fired right up. You positive you have all the fuel lines on tight? bad regulator? is it a new pump?

It's an LBZ pump with 30K and an LBZ reg with same miles. I'm fairly certain lines are tight, not super tight but tight enough. I do have a fuel feak I discovered  but can't find where it's coming from. Just a steady drip on either side of trans onto the floor. I have a PPE pump and it's been running when I tryed. I'll try without the screw in. No codes showing. I may need to read it though with EFI.

Let me clarify about the bleeder screw... i meant just bleed it with the pump not the mechanical primer then tighten it back up and try starting. The leak could be your problem of it not starting.

the leaks in he back could be your return lines out of the heads. Also we replaced the LB7 pump to a LBZ one and the truck would not start, replaced the LB7 pump and started up then replaced the regulator with the one from the LBZ pump and it was fine the pump was junk.

She runs :D. Had a couple fuel lines that were loose and must have been sucking air.

All I can say is. WOW!! That GT4094 and an LBZ pump make a nice increase in power. Tomorrow we'll test them with a sled :happy2:.
