Ever since I updated my software a few weeks ago, the V7.5 stuff has not been working at all. It gives me some sort of error code that I haven't even looked into at all, but it may be an installation error like what Lenny said he is experiencing.

Mine is version V7.5.48 and the cax are in the C:/programfiles86x/efilive/7.5/Calibrations but I will say that every time they have an update it screws something up with the software. Really sucks they basically forcing us to not use 7.5 anymore but it works great and I've been using it since the V1 days!

WOW, Thats an old version...

I do agree. I still like the old V7.5 cause I know where everything is.

It sucks they haven't been able to keep up with the current stuff either.

I can't stand HPT and there attitude sucks when you contact support.

Yup, new computer is on the same version and got nothing. I agree though, 7.5 is tried and true. They shoulda released v8 years ago if they wanted us to switch. Go figure.

I was told the update forces you to use V8 only. No more 7.5 allowed from a guy looking to buy old V2s that haven't had the recent update.

Edit

Says right there if you update:
Firmware versions V2.08.199 and later are ONLY compatible with the EFILive V8 software, they are NOT compatible with any version of the EFILive V7.5 software.
You SHOULD only update the firmware to version V2.08.199 or later if you intend to use the EFILive V8 software.
You SHOULD NOT update the firmware to version V2.08.199 or later if you intend to use the EFILive V7.5 software.
NOTE: The V7.5 software is no longer actively supported - EFILive does not provide technical support for the EFILive V7.5 software.

That was the case for a while, but there is a later update for V7.5 that allows you to open the V8 files again.

Efilive is the best.(y) The competition would have just left us out to dry.

I know I'm kind of dumb, but I couldn't figure out V8 a few years ago. It didn't even seem intuitive at all. I message somebody on FB about it he didn't seem to care to help me, so I suck with V7.5 after he said no body like V8....
