Went out for my 1st Bluefin tuna trip of the year, it was the longest run Ive ever done 300 miles round trip. Had 8 bites, lost 4, released 1 & kept 3. Dressed weights with out head, guts & tail was 430-530lbs(add 20% for whole weight).

Pretty big tunas. Must take a while to bring it in. Nice catch, I've wanted to try tuna fishing before.

I don't have any good pictures that show size reference. The biggest one was a 103"

As the season goes on the bigger fish will begin showing up on their southern migration, they can be 20" longer but double the weight. Ill have to dig up some pics from last year during the big run.

One of the fish had a pop up satellite tag, $500 reward for returning it so they can use it again. No big story with the fish though, it was tagged a month ago off of Canada.

That's what she said! :D sorry couldn't resist! But wow those are massive... I'm used to fighting a 2lb trout haha

these fish are nothing compared to the run of big fish we had last year
heres a couple pics from last year of the biggest fish we got but were the toughest fights Ive ever had on rod & reel 2-4hrs
