If it has a 10 they can turn it up to 550 but they keep the torque down. I think it cost us around 300 to get ours turned up.

Bad idea, I used to run a truck set that way, trans lasted 30k miles and then it was done, probably didn't help that it was a heavy haul truck

We have one truck that has a 10 in it. So far we havent had any problems with it this way we probably have around 30,000 miles on ours The others have 18's. But we also have an 18 ready to swap in, we just haven't had time to.

Had my C-12 set at Wagner Cat for 450 hp but hell in the hole torque that thing pulled like crazy out of the hole and walked out to 80 mph so nice and that was with a 10 spd. It was a 1998 engine but not one problem whole time we owned it and made me a fan of their engines for class 8 trucks.

We installed a few of the TS boxes on some C-15's. Made a noticeable difference in both power and mileage. The shops Freightliner toterhome with the C15 runs much better with the box in it now, would recommend a pyrometer though.

here are our three that have c15's in them. The others have cummins in them. All three of these have 550 heavy haul tunes in them. The day can is the only one that won't run triple digits with a load.

Never license one of these rigs in Colorado. You will have to pay 1/3 the cost of a new truck to put it on the road and now the new tree hugger tests they have to pass and emissions crap they will all soon require is killing our guys up here. Don't license anything in Co. it costs out the nose. Legislature passed new fees because they're broke from all their team building and conferences the politicians and city humpers all have to go to at Vail and Aspen for a week to plan the next way to tax us state residents to hell. Just a tip to save you some money. Look at each states fees and take your LLC to that state and set up leased lot and mailbox for saving your checking acct. BF Egypt is where? It is where to go with your paper work that has low rates to tag and roll from on paper.
