got pics? becuase i have pics of the floors completed and must be a magical paper fairy in there. YOU may think its funny pat but unlike many. I care about my work and what I do. But oh well.

I've got pictures, but taking pictures of a reflective floor doesn't work well. Made in Pakistan is pretty much in the middle of the garage. It's about 1" x 1/2". I kind of like it. I included just a few.

If you are really serious Tom, you put down in writing what you are going to do it fix it. I already spent $1200 to fix the stairs and upstairs area.

Mail it to:

310 South Maple Street
Suite F
Corona CA 92880

Defects:

Walls, doors, kickboards have numerous splatters on them up to 5' from floor. You had indicated we should paint the interior first before the epoxy, which was a bad decision on your part. Areas you attempted to clean didn't work out, and just made the mess bigger. Repainting is the only option.

Silver coloring wipes off and discolors objects. The display sample you showed us had the material as being colorfast.

Debris, bubbles, and puddles in dozens of places. Some of this is pretty thick. You would have to demonstrate the repair first before proceeding, as it could just make matters worse, like the stairs did.

Even the smallest of cracks is still visible, which was the reason for doing it. Again, you'd have to demonstrate how it would improve anything by "fixing" it.

But in the long run, it's just a garage, and now I need to use it.

The only thing that is functionally wrong is the debris, puddles, and bubbles higher than 1/16" tall. These make it hard to roll tool boxes, engines stands, etc, that have hard wheels. This is somthing I just found out recently as I'm starting to move those kinds of things into the shop.

So I can live with it. Did I get a professional job? Nope. He didn't even spend an hour masking the baseboards.

In SoCal, if you do sloppy work, you are called an "Expert". :-D

I'll see what on this computer.

OK, I found some, and I threw in a pic of the Ratmobile (2000 SS Camaro - LS1).

pic 2 is in front of the stairs that you covered with carpet easy enough to sand and recoat that little area. pic 4 i would have to see in person. I know for a fact that I did not rolll over any paper on the floor. how ? becuase the intire floor was shot blasted and all the patches filled and then primed with moisture block. the two color coats and a clear. if there is something there it blew into the garage since the doors did not go all the way down on the final coat . but easy enough to fix as well. little bubbles in the floor are called outgassing and occur when air is traveling across the floor at more then 5mph. again aeasy enough to fix most will just wear off. I dont see any open cracks in any of the pics you posted? ,mabey you can show me in person ? the base board up stairs cmon pat u where told to not have those installed untill we where done becuase of the fact we where useing a cement and lath and epoxy over your ply wood substrate and they would get messed up. you said we can just pull them off and repaint if need be. I will repaint them for you if youd like again easy enough. theese are all very easy fixes and would of been that much easier to fix as soon as the floor was finsihed. the owner needs to take some responsabilty in the fact if they where not happy with something that they speak up get a fix. instead of wateing Like i said in both meseges I left you. call me set up a time and we can come up with a resolution to fix any thing that needs to be fixed. I stand behind my work wich canot be said for alot of people. I find it funny that me the installer is pushing you to have me fix issues on your floor. why because i care about wht I put out. You have my # if you dont kat does .

Oh come on, obviously the guy wants to stand behind his work and make it right. Why not let him do it and make everyone happy? There is nothing more frustrating then an unhappy customer who is being difficult about the repair.

He already fixed it once. This is after "fixing". It actually made things worse by fixing.

My business works the same way. If a customer is unhappy, first we get one chance to make it right. If they are still not happy, they get a full refund and an apology.

In 20,000+ jobs that has occurred twice. Both times, the customer did not know what he was buying, and realized what he needed was something else. Like if I was unhappy because the yard still had weeds after Tom did the floor. We refunded the money anyhow.

I'm not asking for a refund. But I don't trust his "fixes". If he can outline a plan of attack for the repair in writing; I will get a second opinion first.

I'm not mad at Tom. But I'm not going to pretend I got good workmanship either.

Yes, you were told in person, and on the phone that it wasn't a very good job. I demanded you redo the stairs, because it was embarrassing. But that is not even relevant.

If you cannot use masking tape, or see dark paint on white walls, or see objects over 1" long, then you aren't very good at your job.

The cracks still being visible is just you giving me bad advice for big $$$. That was the purpose of the job, and the method you endorsed was the most expensive method, and 100% ineffective. I fell victim to salesmanship.

Think of this as a product review. Nobody would find dark flooring epoxy on the walls as being acceptable. You shouldn't have either. If I came to your house and splattered the walls with paint, would you say that's good?

Workmanship - F, splatters on walls, large debris trapped in coating.
Color - D, silver highlight cover wipes off, 8x8' purple area in grey color.
Coating - D, 1" dia hole left in upstairs floor, plywood grain and nails still visible upstairs, did not even hide hairline cracks.

The fact you could not tell these were defects, indicates that I'd be foolish to let you work on it any further, especially after a failed repair attempt.
