)) it is interesting and figuring the gearing and actual RPM at them speeds I'd gather to say that it's poor (10 or less) but way better than a truck geared with 373's. 
I'm thinking that the boot might have blew apart and that is why it came off, seeing as though kat said something about it being the oldest one on the truck. but what do I know
Kat, pick up some short/small self tapping screws and a small drill bit (50% screw dia.), install screws through boot and into the tube.
