Here are some more

Picture 4 was a travling bar by night and a push vehicle by day. Sorry we didn't have much time to take pic's.

Drew and Dad had the toybox with the easy-upl. Made it really easy to find camp.

Cool video. Looked like a bumpy ride. I like the no rearview mirror. Guess who needs to look back when you are going 163mph.:D

Heck, it's got two side mirrors! Lots of the folk were getting a chuckle from the power windows. These kinds of cars often don't have windows that open.

to bad you dont have power folding miorsss to go along with them windows :)

The more you strip casper the lighter the front end will fill. IMHO the front needs to be pretty heavy and low to the ground. Casper doesnt need to go on a diet did u see how fast it was at 160?

Casper is no lightweight. Without adding ballast, the current raceweight is 6700+
But most the weight is up front, not the back. Need weight in the back for traction.

So what do you do about adding weight to the truck? What do you use? Where does it go? Sorry if this is a bit off topic. Maybe it should be started in another thread. Just curious as to what some of the things you have to do to the truck are.
Thanks.

Three ways to do it:

Remove weight from in front of the front axle. This shows the least increase in rear axle weight, but it also reduces load on the front tires, reducing rolling resistance.

Put weight in back, in front of rear axle. This improves the stability the best but puts slightly more load on the front.

Put weight behind the rear axle. This unloads the front, and magnifies the weights effect on the rear. Like 100lb might = 110lb. But it can hurt stability if you go nuts.

#1 is always a good idea for all kinds of racing. #3 is the most bang-for-your buck.

#2 is good if you already have stability problems. (spinning out)
