Light came back on finally. I tried to check it with EFILive and I couldnt find anything pertaining to the ABS system or wheel speed sensors. Looks like I'll need a TechII.

I did that. Nothing came up besides my usual 4 glowplug codes, Intake heater and egr. Lol ABS info must be in the BCM, or EFI cant see them.

strange....

is just the ABS light on and not the ebrake light?

Correct. No "service brake system" message either. I have no typical signs of a bad hub yet, so this has me scratching my head as well. It stops great when its on, but with the snow rolling in soon Im gonna need my ABS to work.

you should still have ABS but there is an issue. just that light coming on means there is something going on but the ABS will still function. when both come on, you have no ABS as there is a major fault. EFI Live may not be able to pick up that issue then. a good slam on the brakes will tell you that though lol. Ive read many a code for the abs module going out, wheel speed sensors, and so forth on EFI Live though so im not entirely sure what the single ABS light is trying to tell ya. i usually dont come across that. Ben would know this best or someone else that has played with that more than me.

Maybe the Delphi ECM allows you to see a little more, or Im an idiot and cant find it. Lol. I'm gonna try and get to a TechII this week. Hopefully the light will be on when I have time to scan it.

James, It doesn't kick back at you. It feels like there's zero brakes for a second. The pedal goes limp & the truck will roll forward another 5 feet before stopping completely. This happens every time I come to a stop.

Not trying to take over a thread, but my truck does pretty much this every so often. Never really bothered me until I have 16k behind me an it rolls through a stop sign. My power steering pump does whine a little. Am I looking at a pump/hydroboost issue potentially? Thanks.
