Hey guys I heard a lot of knowledgeable guys were over here haven't posted much here but looking for a lil help. Ive been trying to get my 40 overs tuned in and kinda different from my buddies truck I tuned with 40s. on mine I only had to take 5 % out of main injection pulse from 0 -10 mm3 to get it to idle at 9mm3. But its like they are hoses from 30 mm3 and up. Truck drives good right now but its hazing at low to mid throttle. Im running 2200 pulse on my big tune with 40/60 timing split. And running 50/50 timing split on the rest of my tunes. Im rambling on but my main issue is its still a lil smokey at low to mid throttle on all my tunes .If I pull pulse any more at low to mid throttle I just have to push the pedal down farther to achieve same speed and lose throttle reponse a lot. Do I need to add pressure in that area? Or Do some injectors just need more timing down low to clean up? problem is I don't have a drive pressure gauge yet and I don't want to get to crazy with timing in the lower areas and have DP way high. Im using timing calculator but doesn't help me much in lower areas.

2200 isn't bad at all perhaps pull pilot back in the smokey areas??? 40 overs on a big tune wih an ihi will be tuff to clean up IMO a slight haze would be expected i would think. Mathews guys know better than me though

On edit. I was beat to the punch.

Pilot was on my mind. I will do some tweaking in those areas. Ya ihi has just held up longer than expected plus when billet s472 goes on I know it will need bottom end so im gonna beat the hell out of the stocker for a lil while. O and my 2200us will prolly go up to 2300 or so I was fueling a lil hard too early and egts were warm too early but got that taken care of.
