Can you paint a drive shaft?

I'm debating on painting a 'corkscrew' style design on my driveshaft so it looks like it's moving when driving down the road.

paint it to look like a barber shop pole!!

I POR15'd my 04 drive shaft after I lifted it. looked a lot better.

Dustin I did that on my Lbz school bus yellow and black but it was lowered....lol

I have a 1" block in the rear so it's a little more visible. The idea to paint it came to me after I had our detail kid clean the truck. Went to drive it and heard a 'tick, tick tick' noise. Turns out he had put zip-ties on the driveshaft, and drew a healthy sized man part on it :roflmao:
