Question: Can you hurt a built transmission with a 5th to 4th downshift?

Yeah I couldn't get a clearance for the c1's( I think it was c1's) I called sun coast and they sent me different top plate that was a bit thinner to get my clearance.

You should have also said how it was tuned instead of who tuned it then. :hug:

And I didn't say it had to be any certain shop. It's a valid question. Who built it. How it was built. What parts we're used. That better?:D

Ohh I totally agree on the "who tuned" part lol. I know there's some guys under the radar that are good. But the too guys are the top guys for a reason. It's just motor and trans builds. Annoys me kinda when ppl without any interest in buy in a classified add for instance, and ask "who built it"

And a few post up that's how I know haha

Here is what I am learning in the Duramax world. The best of the best when it comes to building trans, engines, tunes, turbo and so fourth do not like sharing there tricks on the interweb anymore cause there are to many damn copy cat thief's out there that take advantage of it. After talking with Mike on the phone there are a lot of little tricks to do that do not come with these kits or are posted on forums. I want to see how many of these "Kits" hold over a 1000hp. What really sucks is when Mikes kit comes out I am sure people are going to try to copy it also.

Don't lie to yourself, Mike's kit will never come out! I had been trying to get one out of him for literally years:)

I have faith in the sheep guy. I am sure he is working on patents and making it where other shops cant copy his special parts.
