Can we get Race valves through you Pat/Kat????

Race Valve install issues.....

We have an event here in about a week... i figure I shoudl at least get the race valve until I can decide where to go next!!

So, Pat/Kat do you guys carry them or should I just order online from PPE???

BTW: Which is prefered the RACE VAVLE or the SHIM??? I woudl rather VALVE than SHIM!!! Seems simpler!!!

The race valve is simpler, and we've had no problems.

Get it directly from PPE, since I'm out of stock and it's fairly cheap.

Well Race Valve is here, but I cannot install it..

I cannot get to the rail to remove it...

I removed the Black Box and underneath the bolts are not reachable by any means I see available to me.. Especially one on a bracket running parrallel and somewhat underneath the rail!!!

The pictures in the PDF aren't liek the brakcet on my truck!!!

What is this race valve? I have an LB7 with PPE DF, do I need something else?

Thanks Dieselson. These motors change faster than I can keep up with all the stuff. We have an LB7 and an LBZ in the stable and that makes my head hurt.

Yes.. I can actually get a wrench on it somewhat but there is no way to unscrew it or remove th eplug formt he rail becuase of the black brackett thta is underneath the glow plug controller box..

Red Arrow is Fuel Rail Plug...

Yellow arrows are the Bolts.. I only have 3 instead fo 5 and htye are under the bracket.. Not on top!!!! Liek int he PDF you sent me earlier!!!

I came across the same problem...my bracket was different from the instructions. I rounded off 2 of the bolts trying to break them loose...because they're impossible to get to. Cutting the bracket off is the only way I'm getting that thing off my truck.

OK, good I am not crazy then!!!!!

I believe Since my LLY has such an early build date.. Mine is a Feb. 04 truck, that they changed designs for this exact reason!!!!


DAN... You may want to take note of this for you website, and modify the PDF How-To-Installs to show there is a different bracket!!!

I will chekc my Dads LLY today.. He also has a Feb. or Mar. 04, Build date truck!!!
