Can't wait until Mark and Brayden get ahold of these big Garrett AVNT's and make them even better.

Call Brayden about the current options for BIG variable chargers. He is going to have some very interesting variable turbos available very soon.

But to answer the original question:
No you can't just bolt a big compressor on a small exhaust housing and expect it to work. A stock VVT exhaust wheel and housing would be way to small to drive a GT45 compressor and even with the vanes all the way open couldn't flow enough air out if it did spool the compressor. Then you still have the fact that the cartridge of a VVT is not made to take the GT45 compressor housing, the shaft sizes are different, and in the stock location I doubt a GT45 compressor housing would even fit that low in the valley.

As long as they can keep buying all of the stock of them they will cost whatever PPE wants them to.

What are the specs on the turbine side? How much bigger than stock is the turbine wheel, outlet, ect. If people are getting over 600hp out of 4094 compressor wheels on stock LLY turbines I wonder how much bigger they will be able to go on this charger.

If its a 4094 like he said it should have a 68mm inducer and 77mm turbine

It's not a 4094 turbine wheel, it's an AVNT. According to Dan a 4094 turbine would fail in an AVNT turbo, so I would hope that's not what Garrett used. I'm thinking that if a 4094 compressor wheel does so well on a stock turbine maybe they can upfit this to a GT42 compressor. All the rumors about a BIG AVNT straight from Garrett had me pretty excited, but a 4094 compressor on an AVNT isn't really new news to me. What might be exciting about it to me is the potential to use this new charger as a base to go bigger.
