Ok guys got a question can this be done. I know you can inter change different compressors with different pedistals and exhaust housings and what I would like to know is could I take a Garrett 4508R and mate it to my stock VVT exhaust housing. That way I would still retain my VVT for quick spooling but have massive amounts of air form the bigger compressor. Also if it can be done will the stock housing handle the increased exhaust the new compresser would create or would it burn up. Give me your thoughts and ideas on and if this can be done.

A gt 45 is a BIG charger, this "may" be able to be done with alot of machine work but the physical size of the vvt housing is to small to support a charger of that size and air flow.

I would call Brayden as he could really tell you an answer.

The 45 has a 87mm turbine wheel. I highly doubt that would ever fit in the stock turbo. Not to mention the turbine wheel and comp wheel need to be somewhat matched. As you can prob guess a good match for the gt45 turbine wheel is the gt45 comp wheel:baby:
