just enough to get a new door on it that will somewhat close. Im not looking to make it look factory again, but since i have zero body repair experiance, im not sure if this can be "pulled out" well enough to make a door close again. I can pick this truck up for $3,000-$3,500. It runs fine and can drive, has 120,000 miles on it, CCLB, 4x4, etc. Someone backed into it and knocked the cab out of place on the frame.

What do yall think? Buy it and try to fix that corner and drive it as a DD or dont touch it. Fixing it the right way isnt an option right now.

from what my naked eye can tell, no damage, the frame is straight. The truck was hit almost directly on the center post that the doors latch too, it is still perfect, so i figure that would have been bent in if the truck was hit hard enough to bend the frame.

Wow, I would think it should say someone "slammed" into it. Hard hit for sure. I would look at the frame really hard to make sure no damage is there. Looks like quite a bit of work to get that entire corner back to normal too. I would think it would still be worth 3k though

the car that hit it had to of had a very tall reverse gear and a decent sized runway.

I figure if i can get this truck for $3k (maybe even less, the guy selling it is a moron) its a no brainer. I just need people to try to talk me out of it lol

Looks nice! I would say go for it. That's not too bad of a fix. It takes a hell of a hit to diamond or push that frame. Worst case put a cab on it. But even that's too bad a job. If it crinkled the floor boards I'd say put a cab on it. I'm not a pro but I've worked at a body shop and have seen some pretty nasty hits that didn't hurt a frame. Hell I'll give you $4k for it if it will run drive ok.

needs a cab corner, door jamb and a complete rocker.. Not a huge issue. just some time and a few pulls.

is the b pillar damaged? (where the front door latch's and the back door hinge's)

Looks like somebody's girlfriend got pissed! That looks intentional, but really can be salvaged. Take a good look at the frame from under the vehicle on your back head toward the front and look to the spare, down both frame rails, if they are symmetrical you're good to go, get a new b pillar welded in straighten the rockers and re-mount the cab, shit man the engine is worth 6k if it runs has turbo electrical and injectors! I think its a win win situation, but there is always somethin...
If the frame is bent id probably walk, but again the engine alone is worth the money...the bumper on that thing was probably almost a grand if not more. Is the interior good, is it leather? I see a money maker...anyone else think you could part it out for 10g? I think so, it may take some time but then you would have a good down for a decent "undamaged" duramax:thumb:

I would pick it up for that in a heartbeat. I would also suspect some mods...given the EFI live sticker on the back window. You never know...you may but a wrecked piece and get a built trans or who knows what other toys. If you decide to pass give me the info and I will go get it.

I deal with wrecks all the time. Giving the look of it I would bet the frame is straight but b pillar is bent. Look at the body mounts on the frame and make sure none are torn up.
