LLY: Can I buy a O Ring locally? For race valve

Took out my ppe race valve today and noticed there was no O-ring on it. Curious as if this is the reason im loosing rail pressure even on the stock tune. Anyone know what size the O-ring is?

It wasnt leaking fuel? I forgot the o-ring once and it leaked pretty good

I'm sure it has been leaking alittle bit. There's diesel residue under it. That would definatly be a suspect of low rail lol.

it may be a non standard durometer because of the pressures and make sure not to use Buna

The o-ring only stops "blow-off" fuel. In other words, the race valve is not sealing.

No o-ring will hold 23,000 PSI.

I normally use a shimmed OEM valve for racing and street.

So I can not use danco O rings? I see ford ppl use them for something's. Pressure eat them away?

I used one from the hard ware store when I did my race valve.
Tried gettin one from the dealer with no luck, looked on the computer in the parts break down & it didnt even show an o ring..

Ok, I think I'm goin to give this a try. I ordered a ppe Viton O ring so it should be here in a few days. Just don't want to harm anything without a O ring in there. Can using no O ring cause harm?

Just FYI, from what I understand with a race valve, there should be no need for a oring as the fuel shouldn't go past the plug

I don't know why a 15 month old thread was brought back up, but the o-ring will have to be used if the little horse shoe shaped fuel return hose is still hooked to the rail or return fuel can and probably will leak out around the valve.
