LB7: Cam,relief advice needed

I couldn't agree more with this. There's been a lot of cam advancements in the last 5 years, the 3388 use to be something

I'm runnig 16.5 oval chambers with .075 reliefs with a 6480 Alt fires. new alt fire 6480 is around 1500.00 IIRC

I agree and personally would run reliefs but some aren't building max effort trucks and want a bit better cam or AF. 3388 would be perfect for them.

I am going to try my damndest to get an af cam but either way its getting .075 reliefs,There are so many choices on profiles its hard to know what does what but appreciate the posts,keep em coming

Don't forget that the valve reliefs are going to drop your CR.

Whats the difference in cut verus full height when buying pistons? Little if any. You wont notice the difference without them why not buy with room to grow. Otherwise youll have to re anodize, or coat later on on top of the fly cutting if you need them later on. Might aswell
