You need that oring. 68 cold is perfectly fine.

Dino oil 15w40. I got motor put back together hoping to fire it up today after work, this time I made damn sure that ring was in there

Thank you all for the knowledge that has been passed onto me. I got the up and running today, just need to replace a o ring on #7 injector return line. Think I knocked it when installing the line connector
