Hey all I was thinking about getting caltracs for my 3500 dually but on caltracs website they only list for the 2500. So I'm wondering if these will work on my truck I know the axles are the same but the spring pack is alot thicker not including the overloads then a 2500. Any info on this would be appreciated. ( or any other suggestions on how to get my 2.4 60 foot down some)

Honda , What would you recommend for me then I don't seem to have any problems with wheel hop It just won't hook with any boost even with 4 11.5 wide tires aired down.

Need to play on how you launch, it's not gunna be perfect everytime you go out. I could pul a 1.90 60' in 2wd, so just keep playing with it.

We run CalTracs on our '02 dually...It's been a few years since I've dealt with them, but IIRC, Travis was the guy that helped me...

They work nice I run them and on the street you can see the launch is better over the truck that doesn't have Caltracs on. Ride a little rougher but they work on anti axlewrap. Take a lift to do it easier and install to directions 2 hrs. about. I left the overloads in and no issues on that with loads I haul. Good luck but for 200 bones it's a nice thing to have under there to keep the pinion angle in range etc.

you being 2wd, tires are gunna play alot in how you launch as well as your right foot. No weight in the rear, all terrain tires, and 2wd make it hard to get good 60s

I'm not sure what tires to run for the track I was trying to find some info on dual dragslicks (I think it would look pretty cool) but couldn't find any in a size that would work on dual rims. So I just got the widest tires I could. I suppose I could run super single rims with drag tires if I can find a matching size. Thanks for the input on the Caltracs I think I'm going to order them next week I finally have the money to do my tranny so it's time to get a little more serious. I would like to get this truck in the very low 13's if it's possible without anything crazy.
