LLY: Cab Swap

Anyone ever done a cab swap? Friend of mine found a duramax that was rolled, needs a new cab. Looking for some info on doing a cab swap for him to tell him if its worth the time or not.

It really depends on your mechanical abilities & tools you have access to. It's MUCH easier if you have a hoist. I've done a few & wouldn't call it hard, just time consuming. It can also be done with about 8 buddies that are willing to lift heavy stuff for beer (or 6 real strong ones).

Hes trading his 2007 honda foreman (pretty rallied) and 2000 cash. Duramax has 10 inch lift, dual fox shocks all the way around, brand new 18 inch rims with 38 inch tires.
